UPPERCASE is home, lowercase is away. Green is an easier fixture, red a harder one, on FPL's own 1 to 5 scale. Avg is the mean difficulty of that team's fixtures in the window; the small number next to it appears when a team does not play exactly one match per gameweek.

How FPL fixture difficulty works

The colours are FPL's own Fixture Difficulty Rating, from 1 to 5, published per match and per side: the same fixture can be a 2 for the home team and a 4 for the visitor. We do not compute a difficulty of our own. It is a rough guide set before the season and adjusted by the game, not a projection of points, and it does not know that a team has lost its first-choice keeper in October.

What the ticker adds is the window. One fixture tells you almost nothing; a run of five is what makes a transfer worth its hit. Switch between 3, 5 and 8 gameweeks and the ordering changes completely, which is the whole point: the team with the best next two is rarely the team with the best next eight.

Blank and double gameweeks show up here before they show up anywhere else in your team. An empty cell means that club has no fixture that week, and two stacked cells mean two matches. Those are the weeks that decide a Bench Boost or a Free Hit, and they are why the ticker runs to eight gameweeks instead of five. To see how your own fifteen are affected, link your team ID on the map.

Home fixtures are in capitals, away in lower case. Every club name links to the map filtered to that squad, so you can see who is being bought there right now.
